How We Work
We want to get to know you.
With almost two decades of experience in web and graphic design, we’ve learned that there is no such thing as a cookie cutter client. Every client is unique. YOU are unique. And your design should epitomize that. Our goal? To collaborate with you to create a look that is truly yours.
Before getting started, we’ll ask a lot of up-front questions about your project. We’ll find out about your goals, requirements, and design style. We’ll find out what you do, and don’t, like.
We don’t just aim to create cool stuff. We aim to create cool stuff that resonates with you.
We believe in crafting a partnership, and working together to make your project a success. And above all, we value timely and thoughtful two-way communication before, during and after your project.
Our Pricing Philosophy
You’ll find that we don’t offer predefined packages or prices. We strongly believe that, just like every client is unique, so are their needs, wants, and budgets. So each and every project we take on is estimated according to those factors.
For website and design services, our work is structured around:
- Hourly rates, with a project cap. What this means is that we estimate how much time your project will take based on your specifications, goals and requirements, and set a total project cost (or cap) based on that.
- Close communication throughout your project to ensure we’re staying on budget. We do not exceed your project cap without your explicit approval. And there are no surprise bills at the end of your project. (Because, really, who likes that?)
What if my budget is small?
Do you have a specific budget in mind? Please let us know up front, and we’ll work together to define what’s possible. We’re also happy to work through your overall project in stages to fit your budget.
OK. How much is this going to cost me?
We’re happy to provide a detailed estimate once we get a feel for what your needs are. After you contact us and fill out your design questionnaire, we’ll typically schedule a time to chat so we can learn more about your project and design goals. Once we have all of the details for your project, we’ll send you back a project estimate for you to review.
